Cu Zn 33 : hot-formed yellow brass

 

CUZN33 alloy, also known as C26800, is a yellow brass that is hot-formed. Cu Zn 33, as its designation indicates, is composed of 33% zinc and 67% copper. This brass is a stronger alloy than CuZn30. It has very good cold forming properties.

Cu Zn 33 and its fields of application

Brass CuZn33 or C26800 has very good deep-drawing properties and good mechanical strength. It also has good resistance to water, water vapour and many organic liquids.
