Bronze CuSn8 ou CuSn9P
CuSn8 is a copper alloy reinforced with a solid solution (bronze) containing 7.5 to 8.5% tin. CuSn8 is a phosphor bronze with high friction properties. High grade tin provides high mechanical strength and elasticity with adequate conductivity (it is 13% IACS at 20°C). The alloy is very wear resistant, has very good corrosion resistance and can be easily welded.

CuSn8 : its properties
CuSn8 has several properties such as high wear resistance and high strength. It is very malleable, its deformability is excellent when cold, but poor when hot. In addition, CuSn8 has good sliding properties, making it an alloy of choice for mechanical applications. It has good brazing and welding properties.
